MIXING AND FEEDING DIRECTIONS:
Thoroughly mix  140 lbs of Elite Holstein Fin R-400 with 1860 lbs of grain and/or roughage to provide 28 grams of Monensin per ton of feed.  Feed the resulting mix at the rate of 18 lbs per head per day to provide 252 milligrams of Monensin per head per day.
Provide plenty of clean, fresh water at all times.
CAUTION: USE AS DIRECTED
THIS FEED SHOULD BE USED ONLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS ON THIS FEED TAG

ADDITIVE CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS:  Monensin medicated cattle feed is safe for use in cattle only.  Consumption by unapproved species may result in toxic reactions.  Do not allow horses or other equines access to supplements containing monensin as ingestion has been fatal. Mix thoroughly with grain and(or) roughage prior to feeding. Feeding undiluted, mixing errors and inadequate mixing of the total ration may result in excess monensin concentration which could be fatal to cattle. Do not exceed the levels of monensin recommended in the feeding directions, as reduced average daily gains may result. If feed refusals containing monensin are fed to other groups of cattle, the concentration of monensin in the refusals and amount of refusals fed should be taken into consideration to prevent monensin overdosing. A withdrawal period has not been established for monensin in pre-ruminating cattle. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.
