MIXING AND FEEDING DIRECTIONS:
The Equity Mag 12 Mineral is formulated to be fed to range or pasture cattle at approximately 4 ounces per head per day. If The Equity Mag 12 Mineral is offered free choice it should be introduced gradually over a 14 day period. Offer 4 ounces per head per day during this period to avoid over consumption. Cattle may consume 2 ounces per head per day to provide 350 mgs of Chlortetracyline and no more than 4 ounces per head per day to provide 700 mgs of Chlortetracycline. Early lactation cows may desire more salt than that provided by The Equity Mag 12 Mineral . Please offer free choice loose salt along with the mineral to cows in early lactation. The Equity Mag 12 Mineral intakes will vary. Mineral consumption rates should be estimated on a monthly basis. If intakes are greater than 4 ounces per head per day more salt should be offered either free choice or mixed with the mineral. If intakes are less than 4 ounces per head per day the amount of salt offered should be decreased. Provide fresh clean water at all times. Supplemental mineral requirements of cattle vary by region, forage quality and season. Individual animal requirements may vary due to age, size, stage or growth or milk production. Please consult your Effingham Equity representative if you have questions about mineral supplementation
