FEEDING DIRECTIONS

Mixing Instructions:  Measure 1.5 quarts of clean, warm (110°F) water into a clean bucket. Fill enclosed

*Enclosed cup holds approximately 10 ounces of dry milk replacer powder, weighing powder improves consistency.

Feeding Instructions:
Feed at a rate of 22.7 mg decoquinate per 100 lb of body weight (0.5 mg/kg) per day. Feed at least 28 days during period of exposure to coccidiosis or when it is likely to be a hazard. Based on an 125# calf. Adjust amount fed based on calf body weight.

At Birth through Day 1:  Feed 4 quarts of clean, disease-free, high quality maternal colostrum or 1 package of OptiPrime calf colostrum replacer within 4 hours of birth. Feed an additional 2 quarts of colostrum or begin feeding milk replacer within 12 hours.

Day 2 to Weaning: Feed 2 quarts of milk replacer solution (100°F) to calves twice a day. Feed 2 quarts
once daily for 1 week prior to weaning. Offer free choice clean water and starter daily.

Cold Weather Feeding: Calves can experience cold stress at temperatures below 50°F. Feed up to 50% more
