About the Position
The Equity is seeking an EHS Coordinator to be part of our Corporate team. In this role you coordinate training programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and investigate incidents. Additional responsibilities include managing insurance claims, assisting with driver files and drug testing, and conducting site assessments with follow-up.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Leadership Characteristics
- BS Degree in Safety Management or a related field is preferred. Safety background with exposure to agri-business is preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common data
- Has a self-motivating personality as well as team-building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all established personnel and safety policies and procedures.
- Identifies company training needs and develops and coordinates training programs
- Provides leadership, direction and technical support to facilities to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Assist with management of insurance claims
- Conducts incident investigations, determine root causes and provides recommendations for corrective action
- Assist with driver qualification files and drug and alcohol testing
- Conduct site assessments, submit recommendations and follow up on recommendations
Work Environment
The nature of the business requires extended hours.
Physical Demands
May include lifting objects up to 50 pounds and climbing stairs and ladders.
Travel
The employee may be required to travel to other facilities in The Equity trade area, conferences, educational opportunities, and other job-related activities.
