Our market area currently includes 22 locations and covers central Illinois and southwest Indiana. The Equity has five divisions including: Agronomy, Grain, Feed & Livestock, Energy, and two Retail Stores, plus a Precision Agronomy dealership as well as a cutting-edge drone sprayer business. About the Position

The Equity is seeking Energy Delivery personnel to be part of our Marshall Energy team. Energy Delivery is responsible for the delivery of all petroleum products, developing and maintaining a routing system for efficient product delivery, while also understanding customer usage and needs. This position also works to install and maintain tanks and pumps, and may also perform gas safety checks.

$17 - $24/hour

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Leadership Characteristics

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree preferred
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common data
  • Must possess a valid CDL driver's license and necessary endorsements

Key Responsibilities

  1. Follow all established company safety guidelines and ensure a safe environment for employees
  2. Delivers all petroleum products (Refined Fuels, Propane, Grease & Oil)
  3. Develop and maintain routing system for efficient delivery to customers
  4. Call on prospective customers
  5. Keep current on customers usages and needs
  6. Make collections as necessary
  7. Responsible for the daily maintenance of assigned vehicles
  8. Perform maintenance and installation on tanks and pumps
  9. Perform or assist with gas safety checks, maintenance and installation of propane tanks and systems
  10. Attend continuing education courses to maintain a quality level of knowledge for the products and regulations involved

Work Environment

The nature of the business may require extended hours. Frequently exposed to weather conditions. Working conditions may include exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals with appropriate safety measures. The noise level can be above normal at times.

Physical Demands

The physical demands include lifting objects up to 50 pounds and climbing stairs and ladders.

Travel

The employee may be required to travel to other locations, conferences, educational opportunities and other job-related activities.
