Strasburg - Grain Administrative Assistant
The Grain Administrative Assistant supports daily grain operations by providing excellent customer service, managing grain documentation, and assisting producers with contracts and settlements. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate grain records, coordinating scale activity, and supporting the efficient movement and merchandising of grain throughout the year.

Salary
$17-$21 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all established personnel and safety policies and procedures.
- Waits on customers in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner
- Operate the electronic scale platform with proper documentation, weighing, grading and recording all inbound and outbound scale traffic
- Work extended hours during Harvest
- Assist in purchasing grain from the producer within the guidelines set by the VP of Grain
- Assist producers with grain contracts
- Make grain settlements with the producer
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Leadership Characteristics
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, agriculture background preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Self-Motivating personality
Work Environment
The position works in an office atmosphere and may require extended hours.
Travel
The employee may be required to travel to other facilities in The Equity trade area, conferences, educational opportunities, and other job-related activities.
