Custom Manure Applicators

When deciding between applying the manure from your barn yourself or having it custom applied, there are a few factors to consider. The biggest two are time and equipment. Will you be able to spread when weather conditions are appropriate in an efficient manner. Custom manure applicators are beneficial for those producers who can't stop other efforts to apply manure and  prefer to have the manure application cause less compaction through a dragline approach. Most areas have professional applicators that you can find by talking to your state pork association.
