Effingham - Information Services Director
The Information Services Director is responsible for partnering with business leaders to define strategies and action plans, identifying service needs, and evaluating cost-benefit outcomes. The director will lead the execution of key initiatives by setting measurable goals and structuring solutions into impactful projects. This position also oversees departmental staffing, manages consulting services and contracts, and fosters team development through performance coaching and salary administration. Additionally, the director will handle financial planning by developing and managing the annual budget and ensuring cost-effective operations.

$85,000 - $110,000
Key Responsibilities
- Planning/Strategy – Work with business leaders to define strategies and action plans. Identify business information service needs. Quantify costs and benefits.
- Execution - Develop goals to be accomplished and measurements of success. Structure information services solutions into projects with defined outcomes insuring value delivery.
- Staffing & Services - Staff the department. Acquire and manage consulting services and establish and maintain consulting contracts and service level agreements. Appraise performance, coach/mentor and administer salaries.
- Financial Management - Develop a consolidated information services annual budget, approve expenditures and monitor costs.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Leadership Characteristics
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study, master’s degree preferred
- Possess 10+ years of relevant work experience in technical or functional areas
- Experienced leader with strong business, technical acumen and excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable in agriculture and agribusiness information systems preferred
Work Environment
The nature of the job requires extended hours.
Travel
The employee may be required to travel to other facilities in The Equity trade area, conferences, educational opportunities, and other job-related activities.
