INGREDIENTS
FEEDING DIRECTIONS
Mix 300 lbs. Elite Beef Grower concentrate with 1700 pounds of whole corn to make a medicated feed. Each pound of this medicated contains 13.5 MG of Monensin. Feed this complete medicated feed at a rate of 9 to 19.5 per head per day to provide 121.5 MG to 263.25 MG of Monensin. Feed no hay or mineral. Avoid feeding whole corn that is above 17% or below 13 % moisture. Never let the self feeder run empty or the animals may overeat when refilled. May be fed with hay. See your Effingham Equity Consultant for furthur assistance with rations. Provide plenty of fresh water at all times.
WARNING: A withdrawal time has not been established for pre-ruminating calves. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.
CAUTION: Do not allow horses or other equines access to formulation containing Monensin. Ingestion of Monensin by equines has been fatal. Monensin medicated cattle feed is safe for use in cattle only. Consumption by unapproved species may result in toxic reactions. Do not feed undiluted. Feeding undiluted or mixing errors resulting in high concentrations or Monensin could be fatal to cattle. Must be thoroughly mixed in feeds before use. Do not exceed the levels of Monensin recommended in the feeding directions, as reduced average daily gains may result. If feed refusals containing monensin are fed to other groups of cattle, the concentration of monensin in the refusals and amount of refusals fed should be taken into consideration to prevent monensin overdosing.
CAUTION: USE AS DIRECTED.
