When you work with The Equity, we do our best to make your life easier – not more complex!

We offer account options and payment programs for residential, business and agricultural customers designed to fit the way you like to do business. Programs include monthly line of credit, a Level Payment Plan for residential propane, and prepaid and fixed-price energy contracts.

Payment options


We offer several convenient pay options, including cash or check, monthly automatic bank account debit (ACH), e-check through My Account, and VISA, Mastercard and Discover credit cards*.

You have the flexibility to make payments online at your convenience through our My Account portal, The Equity Do It Center or corporate office, and any one of our 16 Illinois locations.

* Credit card transactions are subject to a 3.0% fee.

An account with The Equity provides you access to convenient payment programs, flexible payment options and historical records of your purchases.

Once approved for an account, you may use it to purchase from our self-serve fuel pumps, the Hardware Do It Center, bulk propane, feed, agronomy inputs and more.

Level Payment Plan


Residential propane customers may enroll in our Level Payment Plan for home heating after your credit application has been approved. This program spreads your propane costs throughout the year, rather than concentrating costs in one short window during the winter months.
